And so it begins, another year of promises and do goodableness that I and you also have every intention of keeping…..but….maybe we’ll start tomorrow. Anyway, this year I fully intend to be as thin as Lady Gaga so I can wear white Lycra comfortably and without shame. (I’ve always had a thing about white lycra – maybe because it’s so unforgiving it’s like the ultimate challenge!) Super-skinny Juliette is calling me from the other side of the hill, I can hear her but I can’t see her yet. However, I am walking forcefully to meet her and as I shed my last stubborn curvy pounds I’ll be running towards her screaming “Baby I’m here at last, let’s go shopping for size 0’s!” So, that was the LAST biscuit I’m having until 10th of August. I have no other resolutions because I would have to re-invent myself totally and that is impossible, I’ve tried it before. It’s far too difficult to be super nice, super healthy, charitable and thin AND with a smile on your face – far too stepford. So Happy New Year to one and all and let’s try our best to make it through dreary old January without the X factor and Merlin and chocolate and wine and parties and twinkly lights and OH MY GOD it’s Hell!!!
