no, they look delicious but I have a massive fear of being ill after I had a dodgy scallop. I still love those but now I don’t eat them because they made me so ill it’s a wonder I’m still alive. *)
I’m guessing he’s not an original settler? They definitely say it like that. I got pulled up on it. I even checked because I’m trusting like that! You better tell him before he comes a bootiful cropper!
I know! I mean I can’t blame them when I first got taken into that place I was beside myself. And then I found out that petrol stations do cups of bacon as well. We’re a simple folk over here you know.😆
What an interesting adventure. And the North Sea is always cold if you splash in it, even if it is hot outside. I saw no evidence that you splashed, but you must have. Snorkeling for shells (the better sort that have not been picked over) sounds like a critical task. The fish and chips did look spectacular, and the salt air does impart that secret something that is difficult to define as you crunch them down. I was relieved to know that you still carry your emergency clown nose. It will get you out of trouble almost as many times as it gets you into trouble. (No, you can not predict in advance which, unless you study clownism, which invites a whole other topic.)
I did a bit of a paddle. If I was there now I’d be fully in. I’m boiling to death.
Well, I might give the snorkelling a go!
I love my clown nose. I always use it for shock and awe, if I’m bored of a conversation, or someone is irritating me. Or, sometimes, just because I can. I am fully versed in clownish, as you know.
Thanks for the enjoyable travel with you.
You’re very welcome, Ed!
Heatwave, the Linda Ronstadt song. and an obscure '80s sitcom :)

I have a good friend who lives in Happisburgh.
Not once has he ever pronounced it 'Hayzbruh'.
I shall certainly pick him up on this and educate him, when next we meet.

Oh no, he's not indigenous to the region... like me, he comes from Loooun.
Ahh, anywhere near the airport? He won’t be able to nob with the locals if he don’t talk right!
Should you ever decide that England is runnng short of numpties, email me. We Americans have many, many, many that we could spare you.
Ooh no, Roger. We have more than enough, let me tell you. You might have a fair share of them over there as the World Cup gets underway!
There are several UK and EU visitors here who are posting very flattering videos about the USA on YouTube and FB. They are all astounded by Buc'ees!

We Yanks will go to war over bacon ... !
Few people know that the War of 1812 was over bacon tariffs....

The fish & chips look fantastic! Why are they always the best at the seaside?
And I know you can't do everything, but the North Norfolk Railway is worth a visit. It runs from Sheringham to Holt (I think).
Yes, I did hear about that. My mission, given the short time, was to get a coastal feel but trains next time!
