Sooo…that’s NOT YOU in the poster-board advert in the last picture modeling these trend setter ‘boots’?

Guessing, as you suggest, the Crocs folks have branched out since losing market share over here in The Colonies. Yet, some traditions should not be messed with, especially Barbour Wellie’s.

Ps. You have more pairs of cowboy boots than me…how is that possible?

Not even I would stoop that low, Paul.

This is what happens when you let morons go footloose and fancy free. Stick to what works!

Well, I have proper farm ones from Tractor supply for when I stayed at a horse ranch in Virginia and had to help out, I have some Luchesse fancy ankle boots with feather detail, some tasseled ankle boots from Boot barn, some hand made ones from Pinto Ranch, two random pairs from Cavenders and some long tassled suede ones from Buckle. They’re all different. First ones are my favourites. They’ve been to boot hospital twice! But I ain’t got no wellybob ones! No sir!

Wellie juju? It doesn’t sing does it? Still there must be something you can do to help the posers with their cultural appropriation beyond encouraging them to buy a Stetson. What about duck juju? A string of yellow ducks on a leather thong circling the boot?

I think that could work along with a clown nose and a matching dickie bow?

my only dream in life is to enter a cheese-rolling contest, get on top of a big hunk of cheese and just roll down that grassy hill, you know? that's my Olympics.

yes, after all, Brits had to navigate all those moats in the Middle Ages :)

are those the Paddington Bear wellies?

I wish they would serve game pie at Medieval Times in Anaheim, CA!!!

You don’t want to be doing that, not without 5 pints of mild inside you!

Paddington has bright red wellies so you can see him in the grey.

You should insist on it! *)
