Not sure I've ever seen that many segues in a single blog post, before.

I knew it was called a cloche... no flies on me.

And, who knows, yes maybe, just maybe (you're gonna be the one that saves me), football might be coming home. Along with the tennis... "Come on Fery, let's go!"

Look at us transitioning from one ball to another. Like watching tennis. It could happen. This could be the year. I wonder (wall) …

Cloche hats or caps for women were de rigueur elements of style during the 1920s. No, I am not old enough to remember that personally.

You are well read, Roger! My mother has one, apparently.

What’s a fifa goal? Is that some sort of French poodle?

Sandwiches… Yumm.. except sushi… no sushi..

Jules Smith's avatar

Haha! I don’t know, Al. You’d have to ask FIFA cos they keep changing the rules!

All sandwiches should be made with thick bread, butter, and proper fillings!

I’ve got to give that pun to Ellie. She said it around the cloche table of picky bits. Genius is genetic.

I’m looking forward to that magical mystery tour!

Mexican sandwich? like a taco?

a cloche is that thing that covers the magic Beauty and the Beast rose.

Erling Haaland is that Viking from the comics.

the Striking Viking: Ewa Laurance, hot Swedish pool player... :)

I just have a feeling that FIFA will do everything in its corrupt power to see to it that Messi wins this thing again as his swan song...

Ooh no! They are flatbreads , sandwiches and cobs with Mexican chicken inside.

I have no doubt that FIFA can F it up. But if they can’t then are we, in the Great and beautiful land of Britain, looking at football AND tennis coming back home?! *)

Nobody ever told me to stop playing with my cloche… so I don’t know if I can say it confidently. Put that ball in the cloche, Jules!!

Jules Smith's avatar

Haha! Does that mean you’re blind now?

Larry B Lambert's avatar

That could be misinterpreted very easily.

Yes it really could!
